Ayala Bar, a well known jewelry designer in Israel, works magic with small glass seed beads, stones, crystals and fabrics. You can read more about Ayala Bar in her own words.
Her style is defined by major collections:
Classic, decorative shapes created from beaded mosaics and fabric medallions, combining colors in a tasteful and sometimes surprising way. Hints of Byzantine era style, time consuming to make and timeless to wear.
Hip (we call it Fab) styles work unusual fabric compositions with metal, stones, crystal and glass.
Radiance (introduced in 2011!), fabric and paper under faceted glass are coordinated in prints and colors within simple shapes, accented in some cases with simple dangling beads.
The metals using in all collections will be silver or gold plated over a non-precious base metal.
Ayala Bar creates two seasonal collections per year in each of the above styles, quantities are limited to a short production period and thus collectible!
