Rare IMPERIAL SUNSET JASPER is prized in certain color formations, and this is certainly one of them. The broad bands of olive green, dark to light, and rosey-browns, evoke restful images looking across pristine farmland and pastures at sunset. Stone is captured by peyote stitch in both mauve and green colors, open on front and back, measures 2.5 inches across. Suspended on knotted necklace of flat rectangular JASPER and round UNAKITE, that have the green and peach colors. 19 inches long, toggle clasp of gold vermeil on sterling, the toggle bar has a small flower motif on it.
CIAVERELLI DESIGN is named after Lynn Levitt's daughter who inspired her to revisit a childhood passion for rocks and gems. Her father took her on his own rock collecting jaunts, giving Lynn the appreciation for the rare beauty of things from the ground. Creatively using the peyote stitch to wrap the unusual stone shapes safely, her one-of-a-kind finished pieces can be worn comfortably.
