Richly stunning in the deep peacock colors, as the bag is covered in the natural feathers! Hard inner shell construction, measures 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 3 inches, opens from hinged bottom, closes securely with clasp on top. Brass frame protects edges (no feet). In addition to the rich peacock feathers covering what is likely leather, beads and braid in deep purple, teal blues and greens, work around the edges. On the front are the sculpted flower and medallions of beads to add more of the periwinkle blue, plum, fuchsia and lime colors. The large flower has iridescent glass petals on top, all medallions have beaded fringe cascading below. Interior lined in green silk with small open pocket. The heavy antiqued brass chain has purple leather strap running through it, chain is detachable.
