Asta Glass is designed by Kathryn Gooding and created in the California Bay Area with the help of skilled artisans...though Kathryn counts herself still the chief designer, bottle and glass washer, salesperson and bookkeeper! The company was born with a great deal of humor (while drinking a martini no doubt), the name Asta comes from an urbane screwball dog who appeared in a number of 1930s films. Each glass may be frosted, etched, embellished with glass or metal, painted. Clean them by hand in the sink for long enjoyment.
