Designer Reviews

From his Oregon studio, Joseph Brinton makes lively little earrings. Designs are photo-etched onto brass, nickel-silver, copper or aluminum, and coated with a tarnish resistant clear coat. Various techniques are used to treat the surfaces including air brushed organic enamels, texture-rolling, bead-blasting and hammering. Joseph started into jewelry as a goldsmith, then apprenticed with Jody Coyote, before starting his own line in 1987. Earwires are either sterling silver or goldfill.
