This page shows an exciting assortment of jewelry that includes lapis, also known as lapis lazuli, in the designs. A rich royal blue to navy blue in color, lapis is a royal stone from ancient Egyptian culture and common in American Indian jewelry designs. It was believed that lapis lazuli would protect the wearer from evil. We show it inlaid, bezel set, or beaded into sterling silver necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

Stones are arranged 1-3/16 inches lengthwise on finger as shown in this size 7, but they are set into 3 different places on adjustable ring. A 3/16 inch sterling band has LAPIS at center, then TURQUOISE and OPAL DOUBLETS on each end that wraps around to meet the center top. If the ring is adjusted smaller or larger, the stones will shift off center.

This is a very large pendant, made in Indonesia, with flat round lapis that measures 1-1/4 inches across! Some sparkling gold matrix in the stone, bezel set in sterling silver. 8x10 sparkling red garnet at top, with rainbow moonstones on each side, add rich color. Large bail can hold up to 5mm chain. Overall pendant length including bail is 2-1/2 inches.
