The luxurious and decorative silk of antique Japanese kimonos is the basic fabric of Loredana handbags, made in Los Angeles. Slightly worn (though you could not detect in the handbag), the antique kimono may have painted or embroidered designs shimmering in the rich fabric. Each bag is unique, working several different fabrics together in flat envelope, clutch and pouch styles. Interiors are as beautiful as the outside, magnetic snap closures, some come with pins or interesting accent pieces. We have only one of each bag as pictured below, because they are one-of-a-kind!

Graceful and extravagant shape of a fan made from the antique kimono fabric that is silvery gray, with embroidered cranes in ivory, gold and brown. The brown is picked up in embroidered brown nd tan fabric panel over top, that forms a flap with snap closure underneath. A carved brown jade medallion rests on the front just under flap. This bag measures 14 inches across, tapers to 4.5 inches at handle, 9 inches tall to base of handle. Room for your personal items since this can poof out. The interior is lined in a taupe print. Sturdy brass handle.

Envelope style clutch measures 11 x 6.5 inches. The sides are pleated to extend outward for personal items. The back over to the front flap is a ceremonial kimono in coral pink silk embroidered with metallic gold, white, ivory, green, teal blue and coral orange. A silver and ecru pattern fabric runs along the bottom front to back, and the kimono is repeated under the flap again. Closes with snap, interior lined in sheer orchid print in cranberry, pink and lime colors, small contrast patch pocket. A cluster of large crystals is found on one corner of the flap.
