Starting with some new bags being shipped in March 2008, Mary Frances is adding a uniquely-numbered Certificate of Authenticity. She will continue to add this on many new styles, but in the meantime, there will still be new and unsold bags in stores, like us, that do not have the certificate. Not to worry! But someday, it will be an important feature to look for.

Envelope style handbag is completely covered in beads and embroidery, but instead of being dressy, the hardware and leather brings it back to standout daytime use! Measures 11-1/2 x 5-1/2 x 2 inches. The background beading is clear AB, white and pearl. Embroidered blue, red and yellow flowers with green leaves, mix with beaded flowers in hot pink, yellow, peacock green and iris. Lemon yellow beads zig zag along borders. Full flap over the top closes with snap, and has the chrome buckle ornament with beaded tassel charm. Interior lined in bright lime fabric with small zip pocket. 20 inch brown leather shoulder strap is long enough for high shoulder wearing.

Yummy soft leather bag, the body is a lacy almost reptilian motif in pale taupe, overlaying stripes of metallic bronze, copper, brown adn black. Has black leather base and corded trim at seams. Bag measures about 12 x 6 x 2-1/2 inches. Columns of metallic gold/black sequins work vertically around this bag. The top is gathered with dense clusters of tiger eye and wood beads, jet black crystals. On the front is the large moss green stone medallion with more of the same stones beaded into a starburst array and dangling fringe. The top closes with single hidden magnetic snap. Interior lined in black-and-white woven fabric with small open pocket. The large tiger eye beads and stone clusters form a pair of short handles...this bag is not going to be friendly with sweaters that might get caught in the bead clusters, but comfortably smooth on the arm and hand!

Street Collection larger bag measures about 15 x 10 x 5 inches. Has distressed brown leather oval base, the same leather trims the top edge and shoulder straps. Large bag from Mary Frances' Street Collections, this one is shiny embossed leather in wondrous reptile texture and floral print! The colors of the body are orchid, lavender, mauve, magenta, avocado, and aqua. The trim is forest green patent leather. Measures 11 x 4 inches on flat oval base, 9 inches tall at center and sides, then taller toward where the shoulder straps extend upward. Gentle pleated tucks are sewn with turquoise and green beads. A flap over the center top closes with magnetic snap, is accented with buckle that has turquoise blue crystals.
