In 2003, Pam Yang Hiranyasthiti sat at her Bangkok living room table making beaded jewelry after work. As the popularity of her handmade designs grew, she brought in talented Thai women to learn the intricate beading and sewing techniques, which is now a cottage industry of a dozen women working in their homes. Tiny Japanese seed beads, a variety of pearls, Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, lace and leather are some of the components incorporated into each unique piece. No two are identical!

The center 6 inches of this necklace is suspended with a wire underneath, so it can be gently shaped to form the right curve around your neck, along with the reconsituted black onyx bead chain that finishes 15-18 inches long. At the center is a bead created with silver piece at center, covered in rows of black Japanese seed beads, finishing with golden fancy caps. To each side of this are clusters sewn together with WOOD beads, RED CORAL FLOWERS, WHITE PEARLS, and more beads in silver, black, bronze and red. On one side of this is a natural JASPER, the other is a crackling clear pale amber (or resin or quartz). Two large black faceted reconstituted onyx have fancy golden caps on each side of them. And center section finishes on each end with another sewn cluster of beads in natural, black, red and gold.

Stunning necklace mixes natural and man-made materials in beautiful neutral champagne colors. At the center is a pendant of real PEARL nestled in a piece of SHELL, encapsulated in clear resins so you can see it in all dimensions. This is extended below a cluster formed with peyote-stitched bronze leaves, FRESHWATER PEARLS in champagne and cognac, GLASS flowers, CRYSTALS in clear and smoky, IVORY or bone carved roses. The entire pendant is 2-3/8 inches long. The beaded 19 inch necklace then includes champagne glass pearls mixed with BLISTER PEARLS (they look like seed pods, holding 1-2 pearls started).
