1-7/16 inch wide bangle bracelet has a lightweight lucite inner construction, then is completely covered in a collage of textiles. Paper, fabric, beads, glitter, crystals, thread, hand-painted design, finished with clear gloss. Inner diameter is 2-5/8 inches, that's a generous medium. On the outside is the floral vine of rose and lavender on ivory white with luminous glitter and gold chain, inside is purple/lavender floral, golden glitter borders.
Iris Braunstein Shemesh was born and still resides in Israel. Her artistic history and a lifetime of influences has been in textile design. The jewelry we show below shows a beautiful melding of contemporary fashion, textile patterns and materials, and classic romanticism. All work is done meticulously by hand with a high regard for quality.

Medium-size bangle, about 2-1/2 inches inner diameter, is made from 7 strands of Zulugrass twisted together without elastic. The colors are lemon, tangerine, salmon pink and orange. About 1/4 inch wide, it is flexible but not stretchable.
Zulugrass is made by the Masaai women in Africa, it is dried grass cut and dyed to make natural beads, then strung with glass beads into finished jewelry.
