Exotic colors emanate from the mother-of-pearl nacre of abalone and paua mollusks. These sea reef and rock creatures build the shells as they grow, with rings of colors gray, blue, green, pink and gold. A small PAUA SHELL features prominently in sterling silver pendant setting. Paua is from New Zealand seas, and shimmers silvery blue, green and purple in orbicular water shapes. Shell measures 1.25 x 2 inches. This is set below silver tube that holds up to 4mm chain. Off to the right side are a series of bezel set and faceted BLUE TOPAZ and PERIDOT gemstones, about 4mm in size. Overall pendant measurements are 2.5 x 1-5/8 inches, about 3/8 inches deep.
