This page shows jewelry that incorporates the lovely purple stones of SUGILITE and CHAROITE. Sugilite comes from South Africa, it is an opaque stone that is unenhanced in colors of lavendar to dark purple. Charoite is found in Siberia, Russia, and has translucent layers of shimmering colors like a labradorite/felspar, but in all rich shades of lavendar and purple.

This is a ONE-OF-A-KIND piece, created in the process of trying out new designs, but often the stones are too rare to replicate, or designs too complicated. But this rare treasure can be yours!
2 inches tall, 1-1/8 inch wide, 1-piece sterling silver that has brushed finish on the bottom section. On the top is the large cabochon of CHAROITE in gleaming marbled purple, with gold vermeil bezel and granulation framing the bottom section. A center is a fully faceted lotus-shaped AMETHYST in rich purple and amazing spark, gold vermeil bezel and golden bars accentuating the outer edges. On the bottom is the AMETHYST cabochon. Vertical barpin clasp to wear as pin, a pair of bail rings in back to wear as pendant!
