Working in 14kt gold since the 1970's, Jerry Scavezze forms each piece of jewelry individually, by hand and hammer, in his Colorado studio. Anticlastic Raising is a distinctive process that he has mastered, compressing sheets of gold outward from the center, using hammers and stakes of varying widths, annealing between steps for strength, and coaxing the metal into a finished shape that has a curving channel to catch the light. Shiny and/or sandblasted, graceful, clean and simple, to be viewed at many directions with pleasure, his jewelry is never flat.

Scavezze 14kt Small Post Spiral Earrings $238.00 Svz1d.961 1-1/8 inches long in 14kt yellow gold, the post is located slightly below top edge. Earrings are shiny polished finish, hammered in anticlastic raising process into a channel that spirals downward to rounded point.	Scavezze 14kt Double Hoop Earrings $364.00 Svz1e.61t.er5 Two pieces of 14kt yellow gold are joined at each end. On top is the shiny polished hoop that has post at top, and channel to catch light in anticlastic hammered shape. Underneath is an almost flat sheet of gold in wider hoop shape, sandblasted finish on outside and shiny inside. Tapers up to 1/4 inch wide, 3/4 inch diameter.
Scavezze 14kt Pearl Set Svz1b.t85e62t.prl Elegantly graceful pendant formed in 14kt yellow gold with cultured white pearl at its end. By JERRY SCAVEZZE, the gold is hammered by hand in the "anticlastic raising" process to create the channel that brings dancing light and strength to the piece. Pendant has top loop built into it to suspend from 3mm chain (we are showing it on a 1mm cable choker not included), or there is a second loop under that could fit a larger flat omega. Overall 2 inches long. The metal is strengthened with flexibility, so that the curved earwire at top can bend open, then closed within the channel for wearing securely.
Scavezze 14kt Large Cuff $1,026.00 Svz1n.403b A large sheet of 14kt yellow gold was cut and hammered into a stunning cuff-style bracelet, with deep scoop that provides strength and flexibility without heavy weight. The surface on top (inside scoop) is sandblasted, while exterior that glides over the wrist is shiny smooth. Tapers in width from 5/8 inches at each end. Slightly adjustable medium/small-medium size, it is about 2-3/8 x 1-3/4 inside for you to compare to others you own.	Scavezze 14kt Double Cuff $743.00 Svz1a.492 Two pieces of 14kt yellow gold are hammered in anticlastic process to form ribbons in shiny polished surfaces that are strong without being heavy. One winds within the other in cuff-style bracelet. Largest one is about 3/8 inch wide, narrower one is 1/8 inch. Slightly adjustable medium size, interior open wrist space is roughly 2-3/8 x 1-3/4 inches.
